Butterfly trails

The new challenge over at stampin' for the weekend is a favourite :)
We want you to use your die cuts and/or punches.

I used not only the die cut butterflies but I also die cut a scrap piece of card with 3 apertures and inked through it to create the inked background circles.

Simple !

Don't forget to check out all the fantastic DT inspiration over at the SFTW challenge blog and get all the details for the challenge.
Hope you'll play along and you could be in with the chance to win a surprise package !!!!

Thanks for stopping by - hope you get some crafty time today x

Questionable morals ?!

This week over at Jellypark Friends we have a new release which I know will be used lots on my friends cards and gifts this year !

Here it is

Isn't she fab ?! You can find her along with the super sentiment together at the jellypark store here.

I made another bottle tag - well it just seemed like the perfect platform for that fun digi !

I coloured it with firstly my pro-markers and added some shading with my prisma pencils. The swirls were added afterwards with an age old stamp which hasn't seen the light of day for quite some time - I was very pleased to re-discover it :) The texture you can see on the jacket is a fine glitter but it didn't photograph very well - it is super sparkly IRL :)

Don't forget to hop on over to the Jellypark challenge blog to check out all the DT  inspiration and also the new challenge.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Raise the bar - Friendship (last month of challenges - boo hoo :( x)
Addicted to stamps - Anything goes
Crafts and me - Bling it up
Crafty creations challenges - No patterned paper
Craft room challenge - So sentimental
Oldie but a goodie - Make it girly

Thanks so much for visiting me today x

Choccie treat :)

This week at Stampin' for the weekend our challenge theme is

Friendship

We are lucky enough to be sponsored by Saturated canary so all our DT cards feature one of their  fantastic images :)

I used SC's "springtime" image available at the store here. And coloured it with a mixture of prisma and polychromo pencils. It's the first time I have used the polychromos so please bear with me while I adapt to them !

The DP's I used are from K & Co Berry sweet - a super ancient paper stack that I rediscovered recently at the bottom of a drawer ! That great sentiment is from the Wax fruit company available here.

With such a sweet sentiment I knew I wanted to make this card into more of a gift so I added a little pocket with some choccy inside !

I was visiting a friend at the weekend and took this little gift for her - she was so very pleased with it and that made my day brighter too :)

I hope you'll play along with us at Stampin' for the weekend - don't forget to check out all the other fab DT inspiration too.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Cute card Thursday - Use butterflies
Delightful challenges - Use circles
Joanna Sheen - Spring into spring
Lacy sunshine challenge - Spring fever

Thanks for visiting today :)

Here is my card featuring one of the super stamps available exclusively to Jellypark members - if you're not enrolled yet check out all the details here

This super sweet image really makes me think about the book wind in the willows - a fabulous tale which I can't wait to read with my own children. We are currently on the wizard of Oz but I think this will be next.

Sparkling sheep :)

Ok is anyone else having problems with blogger ? I scheduled a post to go live this morning but when I checked it hadn't posted and had completely disappeared from my post list too !! So I'm not quite sure where in blogoshere my post went but here is another to replace it !

It's time for another fab new release over at Jellypark and this time we have this cute little lamb - perfect for spring :) There are 2 new digis here is a preview for you.

Click on the digi names above each image to be taken to their spot in the store.

I gave my image a little shading with a light touch with my prisma pencils and add ice stickles to make my little lamb sparkle :)

I stamped the beautiful heart doily from papermania and embossed it then layered it onto another doily die cut with my cheery Lynn English tea party die. The flowers and leaves are die cut from a Marianne die. I added liquid pearls to the centre of the flowers and the butterfly.

I tied it all up with 1" lemon chiffon and lilac pom pom trim and topped the bow with a button tied with lemon paper string.
The yummy backing paper is from MME bramble rose kit and I roughly edged it with gold embossing powder.

I hope you'll hop on over to the Jellypark challenge blog to check out the new releases and also the latest challenge as well as the massive amount of fab inspiration from the DT.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Ribbon carousel blog - Spring is in the air

Bright & breezy :)

Just wanted to share a simple but cheery card that I made at the weekend.

I made this card with the bright fun colours and patterns from the EP summer days paper pad.
The pin wheel is a sizzix die cut (actually was bigger but I cut it down a little to fit comfortably on my card) I also used my scalloped square die, also from sizzix.

After cutting the scalloped square I cut another from thick cardboard and folded the edges back over it. Never tried it before but I like the result !

I used pro-markers to colour the back of my DP to make it double-sided and added a big chunky brad to the centre of my pin wheel - voila !

Like I said it's simple but it made me smile to play with these bright, happy DP's.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Anything goes challenge - Seeing double (2 Dp's, 2 die cuts)
The shabby tea room - Anything goes
Use it Tuesday - Die cuts, punches & cut-outs (both my dies are over a year old and the DP's are old too)

Thanks for visiting me today x

Hoppy Easter

It is time for another fun challenge over at Jellypark and this time we want to see bunnies on your projects :)
Perfect to get ahead for Easter so get those spring papers out and the colours flowing :)

I love Claire's bunny images for any time of year - my favourite toy, as a child, was my binny (I couldn't say bunny and it just stuck !) and later I had a beloved pet rabbit by the same name :)

This particular image is the cute dancing rabbit and is available in the store here I coloured him (or her!) in with my prisma pencils.
I used DP's from the papermania spots and stripes capsule collection to make my tag and also to paper piece my bunny's dungarees and ears. The sentiment was made in MS Word.

Here's a closer look
