Quick creations :)

Wowsers I've had a great morning ! You know one of those mornings when you feel that it's all fallen into place - just worked really well ! I woke to find that my lovely hubster had taken the kiddos to his mums for breakfast so for the 1st time this week I didn't wake to bickering and whinging instead it was quiet and peaceful.
Although getting loads of crafting done this week - I still needed a couple of fathers day cards and with tomorrow being fathers day I thought that I'd better get on with it !

So off I set with CAS cards in mind for speed and lets be honest those men don't really appreciate it any more if you spend hours working on a card for them ! I made 2 cards in about an hour with scraps of DP that I had floating around. I done all this in peace without even the TV on and just a cup of tea for company ! I made the most ridiculous mess - not bothering to tidy between cards like I normally do (my craft table is also our dining table so it often needed at a moments notice for quick snacks and emergency bowls of cereal when my boys decide that they are starving !!!) when I had finished (feeling smug as I had even photographed my creations) my craft/dining table looked like this

Craft carnage !!

Anyway here are those quick cards.

DP scraps from this fab digi kit, star die cut from sizzix framelits, number & letters die cuts from memory box and # made withj scraps !

I would love to share this card with the following challenges:

Simply create too - Fathers day
2 sisters challenge blog - Just for dad
A gem of a challenge - Fathers day

And here's the other one !
DP scraps - no idea which kit they are from but they are digi papers ! Stars die cut with sizzix framelits, sentiment from jellypark, twine & button from stash :)

I would like to add this card to the following challenges;

Crafty creations challenge - Super sketch - thanks x (hope it's ok that I changed the shape x)

Crafting for all seasons - One for the guys
Scrappers delight challenge - S is for ........(Stars)

Thanks for visiting me today - I love it when you stop by x I hope you get some time to get crafty today x

The DP's are from the playdate digi kit by designs by Dani which is available at jessicasprague.com The stars were cut using my Sizzix framelits, picot edge circle is from spellbinders and the letters die cut letters (Dad) memory box.

Here's a closer look at that image coloured up

Summer birthday

I was thrilled to be asked to join the Aud sentiments DT as a guest for their new challenge - Thanks girls :)

Their new challenge is the one we all love - yep it's an anything goes challenge so as long as you have a sentiment on the front of your card then it's all good !!

This week their sponsor is Beccy's place who creates fabulous digital images which are a joy to colour up. I used one of her freebies called Mum's blossoms available here but you can find oodles more fun digi images at the store here.

Here is my card

That beautiful image was coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils and then cute out with my spellbinders ovals and a bit if fussy cutting. I added so chalk around the edges to soften it off.
The stunning DP is from Graphic 45 secret garden paper pad.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Make my Monday - Use ribbon or lace
The crazy challenge - Use sentiments

Precious bunny

Sorry to post so late in the day but I took the kiddo's to the cinema to see Epic today. It was fab, we all enjoyed it and had a lovely afternoon together.
Earlier this week I bought myself a hula hoop - I thought it would be a fun way to get some exercise ! Well my youngest son has caught the hula fever and wanted one of his own so we had to stop at the shop on the way home to pick one up. And we had a little hula hooping session when we got home !

Anyway I'm here to show you my DT card for Jellypark - yep it's already time for a new challenge and this time around we want you to be inspired by any of the colour palette's over at

I used this yummy colour combo as inspiration for my card

And here is my card

I have used the super cute rose bunny digital stamp available here at the jellypark store along with one of the digital sentiments from the new baby sentiment stamp set.
My image is coloured with my pro-markers and prisma pencils and I added a cute little bow to her hair/fur ! That precious bunny is layered onto a kraft doily cut with my cheery lynn english tea party.
I added lemon & pink chiffon criss crossed over my card and a double bow with prima flower, twine & button. The cute l'il butterflies were made with a MS punch.

Here's a close up of some of those details

Don't forget to head over to the jellypark challenge blog and see all the fabulous inspiration from the DT and get all the details that I've forgotten to tell you about !

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Monochrome mania

Another friday rolls around and this week its time for a brand spanking new challenge over at Stampin' for the weekend.
This time around we want to see your monochrome creations so choose a colour and show us a project using shades of that one colour only - of course you may use skin & hair colours on any image and neautrals such as black and white.

So here is my card using the super "Joey" image from our sponsor Saturated Canary

I obviously chose shades of blue and coloured my image with a mixture of pro-markers and prisma pencils. The cute calendar sentiment in the bottom right corner is from Jellypark here.

Here is a closer look at that super image

The fabulous new releases over at Jellypark are so fun - have a look

I chose to play with the super summery flip flops (believe me its the only taste of summer we are getting here in the UK !)

Here's my card

I coloured the super image with my pro-markers and decoupaged the flowers for a bit of extra dimension before adding stickles for a bit of sparkle. DP's are from a freebie set available at two peas in a bucket.

Sunday inspiration :)

Hello I'm back again with a card that I made this afternoon after being inspired by a few challenges.
Firstly I saw the fabulous sketch over at CAS on Sunday, here it is..

I was also inspired by the super recipe swap over at catered crop. This week Linda wants to see embossing on our projects.

I also wanted to play along at CAS-ual Fridays who are celebrating their 2nd birthday AND their 100th challenge with a tic tac toe board
I used the kraft, bling & emboss line but on closer inspection my card also qualifies for the birthday, bling & punches/dies line too !

Sorry about the terrible photo I wanted to get my card posted ASAP as I just know that this week will be a busy one and I've made so many cards lately that haven't got round to being posted to the challenges they were made for !! If I get time tomorrow I promise to snap another pic and update it :)

I would also like to add this to the challenge over at A little bit crafty which is currently Kraft it.

Thanks for visiting me today x
