Jump !!!
Hello I am so glad you stopped by to visit today as I have a new card to show you x
It is time at Jellypark friends to give you all a brand new challenge and we also get to show you some more of Claires wonderful new releases.
So for the next fortnnight we are challenging you to show us your crafty projects using diecuts and punches. I did kind of go for the easy option here and used a plain ole rectangle die and layered it onto a doily (unfortunately I do not have a pretty doily die - yet !!) and I scuffed up the edges of my diecut for a more organic feel then inked them a bit too.
With this gorgeous image (jumping in leaves available here) I just had to go with autumnal papers and was pleased to see that I had a few sheets left in my Cosmo cricket early bird mini deck - I adore this paper line and will be so sad when I have finished it off !
Those gorgeous leaf stamps are from Sheena Douglas (thanks mum for letting me borrow them x) and they are just perfect for this image and the little tag is from a set of journaling labels & tags by Prima.
Don't forget to hop over to the Jellypark friends Friday challenge blog to check out the rest of our amazing teams cards and projects and read all the details of the challenge.
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
Unscripted Sketches - Fab sketch (thanks girls x)
Pollycraft Mondays - Autumn colours
Crafting for all seasons - Bingo (buttons/die cuts/tag)
For your inspiration - Gorg' autumnal photo inspiration
Thanks for visiting today. I hope you find some time to craft today x

Today I have been invited to be guest designer for The paper variety - thanks girls I am honoured x
Their challenge theme this week isto create a travel or transportation themed paper project.
I wanted to use this fab stamp that I won from Bows and berries a while ago and knew that I had to go CAS style so that my stamp stayed the star !
I used my bigshot to diecut a label then ran it through again with a smaller label to emboss the frame. I also embossed the lower kraft layer with my swiss dots folder.
I had originally envisioned a big red bow around the top fold of the card but it was just too much so I settled for a little ribbon tab to just add a little more interest - do ya like it ?
I am so pleased that I chose red as my accent colour - I love the "pop" - what d' ya think ?
I hope you will join in and play along with the paper variety challenge this week - hop over and check out the fantastic DT creations you will not be disapointed I promise x
I would also like to add my card to the following challenges;
Challenge up your life - No patterned paper
Crazy 4 challenges - Bingo (embossing/die cuts/ribbon)
More than favors - wacky wednesdsay - travel
Papertake weekly challenge - Dies to die for
Woodware - Try a new technique (embossing with my nesties)

Enjoy !
This weeks challenge over at stampin' for the weekend is "holidays" this could mean summer holidays or any holidays you want so you've loads of scope for this one !
We also have another fabulous sponsor. This fortnight we are sponsored by pink gems designs who is offering the winner 6 stamps of their choice - very generous !
I wanted to use a brand new rubber stamp that I won recently - isn't she just sooooo cute ! She is from the molly bloom range and I've coloured her with a combination of promarkers and copics. The sentiment is from a crafters companion set I have.
My papers are from Echo park (Summer days) and seem like they were made for this stamp - just perfect !
I am loving the bright summery colours at the moment (as you can see from most of my cards !) and really don't want autumn to arrive too quickly - lets hope we have a long, late summer !
Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's cards they are stunning as always and then I hope you'll play along with us again at Stampin' for the weekend x

Glamour puss !
Today sees the launch of paper crafting journey's 17th challenge and this time we have a lovely easy one for you - anything goes.
We know you are all busy so here is your chance to share with us anything you have been creating and be in with the chance to win 4 images of your choice from Meljens designs.

I coloured her with a combination of promarkers and copic markers and highlighted her with spica glitter pens and some stickles which I have had in my crafty stash for years! I also gave her glasses the glossy accents treatment for a bit more sparkle.
I dug these papers out of the bottom of my paper drawer - they are from an old DCWV stack and I am so glad I stumbled across them I love the summery sherbet colours x
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Beautiful butterfly
Wowsers just look at this months sketch from Iwona over at random acts of creativity -isn't it just gorgeous !
I will be stashing the sketch into the "fav sketches" folder on my desktop, yes this is def' one that will be used again and again - thanks Iwona x
Just click the picture to be taken to the sketch book Saturday post on Iwona's blog.
Here is the card I made using the sketch - I went for a more whimsy approach - only because I had this gorgeous Meljens digi coloured up and awaiting a project.
My papers are oldies from stash, they are (I think) forever friends (gingham) and K & Co (Pattern paper).
The image is coloured with promarkers and highlighted with diamond sparkles glitter (click for a closer view).
That gorgeous sentiment is from raindrop echo's Spring sentiments set and I coloured the card with the same pink promarker that I used in my image so it matches perfectly, then diecut it with a nestie.
I have had the fibres for as long as I can remember and when I saw them, them seemed just right for the feel of the card and the colours matched too. I added a hand rolled flower made with a scrap of card and added a little bow too (super girly fix - check !!)
Voila ! Hope you like it - now I have posted it I can see that I should have inked the edges of the paper or stitched the edges to soften the join but alas it is too late ! C'est la vie !
I would also like to add this card to the following challenges;
CES challenges - Mix & match
Ellephantastic challenges - Add some layers
Clearly inspired challenges - Things with wings
Wags & whiskers stamps - Sparkly
Glitter geeks challenge - Photo inspiration
Thanks for visiting, enjoy the rest of your day x

Super new challenge
This week over at Jellypark friends Friday challenge we want you to chow us your favorite embellishments.
We also have some of the uber talented Claire's new brand spanking new digi stamps to share with you.
This super cute super hero is one of the new releases and I thought he would be absolutely perfect for my sons birthday next month.
I actually think that this is the 2nd birthday card I have made him ! But that will mean that his little brother can give him one too so that's perfect !
I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I saw this image - I just knew he had to be bursting out of the card front so I started by practising on scrap copier paper then when I felt a bit more confident I ripped into my, double sided, DP. Then inked up the torn edges with red.
The background is bazzill bling embossed with my stars cuttlebug embossing folder - love this for boys/mens cards.
I coloured the image with my promarkers and made my sentiment in paint.net which I printed onto card banners.
I popped my super hero up by making 3 paper springs so not only does he pop out of the envelope he wobbles too - Issac will love shaking the card about and watching him wobble - I just know it !
In case you were wondering my fav embellishments are chipboard shapes - I love how you can paint/ink/emboss/glitter/flock them ! They are sooooooo versatile. These stars were inked with yellow brilliance ink so they shimmer a bit and I might even add a bit if glitter to them later for more bling !
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
Birthday Sundaes - Birthday card
Dream valley challenges - Distressing
I did it creations challenge - Children
Quirky crafts challenges - Numbers
Kaboodle Doodles Challenges - Primary colours
Scrapbook sisters - Stars
Diva's by design - Birthdays
Crafts & me - Make it count (add a number)
Charisma cardz challenges - Distressing
Thanks so much for visiting me today, I do hope you will join in and play along with us at Jellypark friends Friday challenge this time x

Sketch time !
Hello again I m back to tell you about the new challenge over at Easy craft projects.
This week we have a sketch for you to follow - don't feel you have to make a scrapbook layout with it please adapt it to suit any type of craft project we love to see you mix it up and show us something different - just make sure that we can still see the main elements of the sketch on your projects.
I made a card with some MME papers and love elsie alpha stamps - I am just lovin this teal colour ink at the moment and I'm constantly surprised that it looks just as good with red, yellow, brown or pink - hey this is the colour that just keeps on giving !
I used my corner rounding punch to add some interest to my square alpha bases and I'm glad I did it changed my cube shape to more of a flower shape and I like that !
I do hope you'll join in with us again this fortnight we were thrilled that so many of you played along in the last challenge - hop over to the Easy craft projects blog for more inspiration from the fantastic DT and all the details of what you could win this time around x
Thanks for visiting today x

Going dotty for spotty
Yay it's time for another challenge over at stampin' for the weekend. This week we want to see you going dotty for spots !
Our sponsor this week is the fab simon says stamp who is offering the winner $20 to spend in store !!
I have been trying to use up some bits and peices from my scraps drawer which is why this layout was perfect !
My stamp is a Kanban clear stamp and I inked it up with black inkand stamped it onto scrap paper lightly then inked it over with sepia - which gave a slightly darker brown line.
I love these papers but I'm not too sure which set they are from - sorry. The sentiment is also from the same kanban stamp set.
I hope you'll play along with us again this week - we are contantly astounded by the amount of AMAZING entries we get each time we post a new challenge and I am always so very inspired by all of you - so thanks x
Hop over to the stampin' for the weekend blog to check out the rest of the DT's incredible cards and the rest of the details x
Thanks for visiting today x
