Ahoy there .........

Today we have 2 new digi stamps being released over at the Jellypark store and the DT have created some fab projects to show them off.

I am showing off the pirate and dog on a boat digi stamp available at the store here

I coloured the image with my prisma pencils and created a charm by stamping and cutting out the anchor and attaching it to the twine bow with a jump ring.

Today it is time for a new challenge over at Stampin' for the weekend and this fortnight our challenge for you is

Something Girly

For my card I used the girl & heart image from Jellypark and DP's from the MME Love me paper pad. The beautiful die is the Japanese garden lace oval from cheery Lynn and those lovely branches are in the same set. The little tag is a x-cut punch and I added a little "smile" sentiment from a crafters companion set I have. The other sentiment is one I made myself in MS word. 

Then I just added a triple bow with some buttons and done !

I love checking out and playing along with Linda's recipe swap and while the super talented DT are enjoying a little January down time we don't lose out as we can share our favourite cards and projects from 2012 and we get to enjoy everyone else's who plays along too so the inspiration is endless :)

I am def' ready for the weekend and I am really hoping for a lay-in tomorrow morning although I don't fancy my chances !

Well it's time for a new challenge over at Jellypark friends and this week we want to see your cards and crafty projects with Winter animals on them.

I chose to use the super cute penguin in his wooly hat available at the jellypark shop, for a mere £1.25 - bargain !

I am all Christmas card-ed out ! So I decided to make a little hot chocolate gift pack for a friend who needed a little cheering up. It was very easy and fun to make.

Supplies used were digital DP's from Carina Gardner's flourish set available at jessicasprague.com, Digital stamp from Jellypark here, Spellbinders dies labels 1, Centura pearl CS from crafters companion, Prisma pencils, lilac chiffon ribbon. The sentiment was made in MS word.

Pretty pastels :)

Happy new year welcome to 2013 :) I really do wish each and every one of you a healthy, happy and lucky year.

Today see the 1st challenge from us over at SFTW and we are being gentle with you to start 2013 with an anything goes :)

Sorry about this photo but I left my camera at a friends house on  new years eve so I've had to take this picture with my iPad.

These beautiful papers were a fabulous find - an absolute bargain in my local TK Maxx store. They are from the American crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 12x12 paper pad a real snip at only £6.99. I know its last years but its still strokeably beautiful :)

The flowers are diecuts from DCWV the swirl is joycrafts and the beautiful butterfly came from a local florist.

Vintage Christmas

Yes I am still around ! Just super crazy with the run up to Christmas and to be honest my mojo has taken a leave of absence ! Isn't it always the way when there is soooo much crafting to be done !

We are sailing

Hello and happy Wednesday to you :)

I am here today to show you a card I made for the new challenge over at MMCS challenge which this week is to be inspired by a song.

I was inspired by the song "We are sailing" to make a card a card for my sons 4th birthday.

I have used on of the fabulous decoupage sheets from Jellypark along with some digi papers from the Playdate paper pack by Designs by Danni available at Jessica sprague.

*Top tip* I also used the crayons on the textured die cut waves - I love how it brings out the texture on them and I used the same crayon to colour in the "wishes" on my sentiment to tie it all together.

'Tis the season (nearly !)

Good morning to you and happy Friday :)

Wow when took my son into school today his teacher told us that this weekend the children would be bringing home their lines to learn for the Christmas play most of the mums in the room gasped 

"already !" but the teacher frowned at us and told us that there was only 3 full weeks to learn and practice before the Christmas performance's begin !!

So quite fitting that I have a Christmas card to show you today :)

Today a new challenge has been set for you over at Stampin' for the weekend. This time our theme is

All stitched up

Yes we want to see your projects with real or faux stitching and don't forget to add a little stamping :)

I used my new SU ornament dies and piercing templates to create my card and added my stitching, using silver metallic thread, to the ornaments. I also added some of the thread to my pleated border strip and also on the bow. Lots of gems add to the sparkle too.

I really love the traditional colours and patterns of this card and really enjoyed creating it :)
