Dancing fairy spotlight

It's spotlight time at Jellypark friends. And this time it's the lovely "Dancing fairy" that we are showing off !
You can find her in the Jellypark shop here.

And here is my card

I coloured her (skin & hair) with pro-markers and prisma's then I paper pieced her dress adding a little shading with the prisma pencils on that too. Her pretty wings were subtly coloured with prisma's and then I added diamond sparkles glitter - well every fairy needs a bit of bling !

The make a wish sentiment is from a digi kit - I just altered the colour, from black to lilac, in MS word. The tag was made from a strip of card and I used a circle die to shape the top and a Tim Holtz border die to shape the bottom. The little button is also a die cut (spellbinders I think !).

Don't forget to hop on over to the Jellypark friends challenge blog to check out the fabulous inspiration from the DT.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Cutie pie challenge - Paper piecing
Wags n whiskers - Cute as a button
365 cards - Day 185 overlapping images

Thanks for visiting me today

Photo inspiration

It is time for a new challenge over at Stampin' for the weekend and this time we want you to create something based on our inspiration picture.

Here is the inspiration picture
Our lovely sponsor, Saturated canary, very kindly gave us images to play with. I chose pigtails available here at the Saturated canary store.

Here is my card
That sweet image was coloured with pro-markers and prisma pencils and I added glitter to her shoes.
I used paper from the Carina Gardner Affectionate digital kit and edged them with some gold EP.  The swirls on the image and butterflies were also embossed with gold. I added gold and white satin ribbon, in different widths, and added a bow & button threaded with pink button twine.
The sentiment was created in MS Word & the swirl is die cut using the crafts too "swirly" die.

Don't forget to check out all the DT inspiration over at the Stampin' for the weekend blog and get all the details for the challenge.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Quick creations :)

Wowsers I've had a great morning ! You know one of those mornings when you feel that it's all fallen into place - just worked really well ! I woke to find that my lovely hubster had taken the kiddos to his mums for breakfast so for the 1st time this week I didn't wake to bickering and whinging instead it was quiet and peaceful.
Although getting loads of crafting done this week - I still needed a couple of fathers day cards and with tomorrow being fathers day I thought that I'd better get on with it !

So off I set with CAS cards in mind for speed and lets be honest those men don't really appreciate it any more if you spend hours working on a card for them ! I made 2 cards in about an hour with scraps of DP that I had floating around. I done all this in peace without even the TV on and just a cup of tea for company ! I made the most ridiculous mess - not bothering to tidy between cards like I normally do (my craft table is also our dining table so it often needed at a moments notice for quick snacks and emergency bowls of cereal when my boys decide that they are starving !!!) when I had finished (feeling smug as I had even photographed my creations) my craft/dining table looked like this

Craft carnage !!

Anyway here are those quick cards.

DP scraps from this fab digi kit, star die cut from sizzix framelits, number & letters die cuts from memory box and # made withj scraps !

I would love to share this card with the following challenges:

Simply create too - Fathers day
2 sisters challenge blog - Just for dad
A gem of a challenge - Fathers day

 And here's the other one !
DP scraps - no idea which kit they are from but they are digi papers ! Stars die cut with sizzix framelits, sentiment from jellypark, twine & button from stash :)

I would like to add this card to the following challenges;

Crafty creations challenge - Super sketch - thanks x (hope it's ok that I changed the shape x)
Crafting by designs - Anything for a male goes
Crafting for all seasons - One for the guys
Scrappers delight challenge - S is for ........(Stars)

Thanks for visiting me today - I love it when you stop by x I hope you get some time to get crafty today x
