Get inspired by colour

This time around at SFTW our challenge is a fabulous photo inspiration.
Here it is.....
Isn't it gorgeous ? I must admit to really loving photo inspired challenges - I am always amazed to see how each crafter interprets the picture/s differently. I especially liked the colour palette of this inspiration photo.

Here is my card
That gorgeous image is, unmistakenly, from A day for daisies and I coloured it with both pro-markers and prisma's and added a little glamour dust for some sparkle. The DP's are all digital from various paper kits and those pennants are also digital too.
I haven't listed all the different digi sets but if you want to know a particular make just shoot me an email or leave a comment and I'll happily let ya know x

Don't forget to hop on over to SFTW to check out all the fab DT inspiration and get all the challenge details x

I would like to add my crad to the following challenges;

Alphabet challenge blog - G is for gorgeous gowns
Fussy & fancy challenge blog - Spring colours & a blog hop x

Buzzin' by !

This fortnights challenge over at Jellypark is an easy one -

Anything Jellypark goes

I chose to use the cute and super spring-like bee happy digital stamp available at the store here.

As you can see I made a tag with some DP from the American crafts Dear Lizzy neopolitan paper pad. My image is coloured with prisma pencils and I added some glamour dust for some sparkle and a couple of brads to anchor the sentiment. I used a little heart punch to create a hole for the ribbon (just for a change !) and I really like it !
I can't wait to add this l'il tag to some flowers to brighten one of my friends day !

Don't forget to check out the jellypark blog to see all the fabulous DT inspiration and get all the details for the challenge.

Pretty pastels
yes with spring popping up we want to see those pastel shades on your spring craft projects :o)

I used the oh so sweet mouse & balloon digi stamp available at the jellypark store here.
I made a tag as I love adding these to little pressies for my friends - when they are feeling a bit down it always cheers them up :)
I coloured that little cutie with pro-markers and prisma pencils and added a little satin bow to the balloon. The sentiment is from the wax fruit company and I used papers from Blowing kisses digi kit from Designs by dani.

5 reasons to smile :)

Its time for a new challenge over at Jellypark Friends and this time around we want to see your craft projects featuring chocolate or cakes !

I used the super cute Girl & cake stamp and coloured it with my usual mix of pro-markers and prisma pencils. I also done a little bit of paper piecing - I soooo love my digi papers for this as I can use the same DP that's on my base card but I can size it to suit my image.

Here is my card
The lovely DP & the journalling card are both from the
Kristin Cronin-Barrow remember to smile digi kit (available from sweet shoppe designs) and the gorgeous die cut rose is the sonora rose from memory box (a birthday gift from my mum - thanks mum x) I added some stickles to the rose & cupcake wrapper and some glossy accents to the cherry on top ! Voila !!

Shabby birthday chic ?!

Its time for the 1st SFTW challenge of 2014 and to ease you into the crafty new year we're making it easy for you to play along as the challenge this week is
"Happy birthday"
Easy peasy so make a happy birthday card or project with some stamping on it and enter it into the draw x

Here is my card
So one of the crafty gifts I received for Christmas was Frantage :) and I must admit to  getting a little carried away with it on this card ! Ha ha yep I don't think there is much on this card which has not been kissed with a little bit of frantage ! It was the first play I've had with it so I'm sure you can forgive me can't you ?!

My Image is from a set of pergamano clear stamps called flower girl I have had them since
forever ! I coloured her in with my Prisma pencils then die cut with a spellbinders oval, then added frantage (the very first splashes !) and the beaded edge. DP's are a mix of Kaisercraft Sweet nothings and HOTP all of which have been given distressed edges and frantaged !
Die cuts include swirls from , butterflies from crealie and leaf/branch from Joycraft (I think !) The die cut bow and flowers from stash. The chipboard frame is from prisma.

I hope you like it I had a great time playing with a new style of card :)

Don't forget to hop on over to the SFTW challenge blog to check out all the DT inspiration and get all the challenge details.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Baby blues :)

Well I had a lovely Christmas break I hope you all did too and to be honest I really didn't have any enthusiasm for getting back to my craft table but once I started I realised how much I missed it and I had such a ball playing with paper I now can't keep away from my craft table ! So expect many more creations soon !
Today is my 1st Jellypark project of the year and our new challenge this week is
"Buttons & bows"
I chose to use one of my (many) favourite Jellypark images the super cute dancing rabbit which is on sale at the moment for just £1 over at the jellypark store

Here is my card
I made a baby boy card I coloured that cute image with pro-markers and added some shading with my prisma's. I fussy cut him out and added texture with my ball tool. I mounted him onto a card panel which I washed with my H2O's then embossed with a embossing folder. The DP's are ancient from stash and I'm unsure of the brand - sorry !

Don't forget to check out all the fantastic inspiration from the DT as well as the new releases over at the jellypark friends challenge blog.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
