Pink-tober pocket

This time around at jellypark friends we are celebrating pinktober with our challenge to show support and raise awareness of breast cancer. So join in with us and show us your projects with plenty of pink :)

Here is my project, made using the cute dressing up digi stamp available here at the store

I used the fabulous tutorial over at splitcoast to make this trifold pocket card. I always take my niece shopping for her birthday and I thought this would make a cute way to sort out our little trip !

I have left the tag blank to add my own message
It was nice to try something a little different :)

I hope you will join in and play along with us over at jellypark and I look forward to checking out all your entries x

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

A creative romance - Use pink
Fab n funky challenges - Spots & stripes
Designed to color - Tie it up
4 crafty chicks - Use lots of layers

Thanks for visiting me today I hope you get some time to craft along with us at Jellypark soon :)

Just for my little man :)

I wanted to pop on a share a card that I made for my youngest sons birthday, he was 5 on Sunday.

Here it is

I used one of my fav' Jellypark images Dinosaur boy available here and coloured him with
pro-markers and prisma pencils. Dp's are a mix the base green layer is HOTP and the dog tooth green is from the MME vanity fair paper pad. The stars are die cut with sizzix framelits and the 5 was cut using typewriter number dies from memory box.

I love this jellypark image it's a lovely one to colour up. Claire (the brains and the talent behind Jellypark) makes just the cutest boy digi's around I always struggled to find nice, fun "boy" images before I was introduced to the jellypark :)

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

2 sisters challenge blog - Anything goes
Allsorts challenge - Use your ABC's (I added my sons name to the tag)
The corrosive challenge - Dress me up !
Tammy's scrapin corner - Use fall colours
The cutie pie challenge - Make it cute with a tag

A start to Christmas - at last !!

Wowsers another fortnight has flown by and its already time for a new challenge over at Stampin' for the weekend. This time around it's an anything goes challenge so you can show us any of your fab creations - as long as it contains some stamping :)

We are sponsored this fortnight by the fabulous stamp fairy who kindly supplied the DT with some super cute images.

Here is my card

I colured the super cute little image with my pro-markers before adding some shading with my prisma's.
The DP's are all websters pages, the holly die cuts are from an old K & Co kit and the foam snowflake is an old one that I found kicking about at the back of the craft cupboard.

Vintage love

Hello I wanted to hop on here quickly and show you an Anniversary card I made for my sister and brother-in-law who celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary at the weekend. It will be a quick post (did you just sigh with relief ?!) as I have a poorly little boy laying on the sofa watching curious George ! So I'm gonna type quick before the medicine wears off !!

Ok so here it is
I used a sizzix embossing folder for the main background panel and highlighted the texture with a little bit of ink. The second piece of embossing is actually a debossed heart made using another, smaller, sizzix folder.
The ribbon, a chiffon with satin stripe, was white but I coloured it up with a pro-marker so it matched perfectly :) Oh I just noticed that there is more embossing on the heart locket (spellbinders) which is die cut then embossed onto foil engraving board then distressed to bring out the pattern in silver. The beautiful flower die cut is from a sheet that I purchased from my local craft store - I am sorry it does not have a brand printed on it :(
There are also aurora borealis gems, a sentiment, flower & button twine thrown in there too for good measure !
I was plesaed with the finished card until I found that I didn't have a larger envelope to accomodate the way I went over the edge of my card - PLEASE HELP if you have any tips or tricks regarding this problem - what envelope sizes do you use when you overlap the side of your card ? Do you make your own envies or boxes ? Please share any useful tutorial links too :)

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

The paper players - BINGO ( I used ribbon, embossing & banners)
Muse - Fabulous Monday muse this week - thanks for the inspiration x
Oldie but a goodie - BINGO ( I used ribbon, flowers & embossing) All my "ingredients" are more than 6 months old except the flower die cut x
The pink elephant challenge - Anniversary or wedding
Just inspirational challenges - BINGO (I used vintage, gems & flowers)
Whimsy stamps challenge - Vintage/shabby chic

Thanks so much for visiting me today - if you have time leave a comment so I can hop over and visit you too x
I hope you have a super crafty day ;) x
