Bright & breezy :)

Just wanted to share a simple but cheery card that I made at the weekend.

I made this card with the bright fun colours and patterns from the EP summer days paper pad.
The pin wheel is a sizzix die cut (actually was bigger but I cut it down a little to fit comfortably on my card) I also used my scalloped square die, also from sizzix.

After cutting the scalloped square I cut another from thick cardboard and folded the edges back over it. Never tried it before but I like the result !

I used pro-markers to colour the back of my DP to make it double-sided and added a big chunky brad to the centre of my pin wheel - voila !

Like I said it's simple but it made me smile to play with these bright, happy DP's.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Anything goes challenge - Seeing double (2 Dp's, 2 die cuts)
The shabby tea room - Anything goes
Use it Tuesday - Die cuts, punches & cut-outs (both my dies are over a year old and the DP's are old too)

Thanks for visiting me today x
((hugs)) Suzie xoxo
