I got some yummy new craft stash for Christmas and I have been itching to get some time to play with it !
So when I saw the amazing new sketchbook Saturday challenge over at Random acts of creativity I just couldn't resist !
So my new stash on this card is the kraft card - which is a yummy dark shade the patterned paper, both the nesties {oval and the picot edge circle}, the buttons and the chalk which I added to the butterfly wings !
The gorgeous lace stamps {Anna Griffin} are old but I really do not use them enough and I am so very glad I dug them out of the drawer along with the EP and heat gun. I love the way they look against that darker shade of kraft.
The sentiment is from the basic grey too sweet stamp set and the butterfly stamp is from pink paislee.
The butterfly is coloured lightly with my new inscribe pastels then I added some liquid pearls and edged it with a gold pen to make it pop a little.
I hope you got some new crafty stash for Christmas or maybe you are waiting for the sales !
I would like to add this card to the following challenges;
Sketchbook Saturday challenge # 43 - Yummy sketch and amazing sample - thanks
I brake for challenges - Vintage
Little red wagon - Something new {my stash !}
Ladybug crafts ink challenges - Bingo {I used buttons/dies/pearls (liquid)}
Paper creations ink - Something old/something new
Thanks for visiting me today - leave a comment so I can visit you too x

Pink wine = pink tag !!
Hello I wanted to show you the project I made for the Jellypark sponsored thank you challenge over at the crafters cafe's open house.
I made another bottle tag using the freebie available to members of the Jellypark group over at the crafters cafe if you are not already a member it's easy to join - no initiation ceremony required !
I coloured the super cute freebie with my prisma pencils before adding MS glitter and lots of glossy accents {I glittered the shoes especially for my friend Jen who loves a sparkly pair !}
I pleated some striped DP - I love how the pleating looks on stripes and added some ribbon and bow and a button.
The DP's are all from the merry and bright collection from Creativity by Crystal available at Jessicasprague.com I love this set and it will def keep giving ALL year not just at Christmas !
I also distressed the paper edges with my pink adirondack paint dabber.
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with family and friends and wish you all the very best for 2012 x
I would like to add my project to the following challenges;

Last minute rescues !
Well firstly let me apologise - I have been a very bad DT member !! I thought I had scheduled my posts for over the Christmas holiday but apparently I hadn't !
So this is my {late} post for Friday's Stampin' for the weekend challenge which is an anything goes theme - so there is no excuse to not play along - I know you have all got new crafty stash to play with !
We have some amazing prizes up for grabs from 2 fantastic sponsors The pretty little ribbon shop and also Bugaboo stamps.
I used the opportunity of the anything goes theme to make a couple of last minute easy peasy cards both using the same layout - simple but cute and as I made them little mini's {4in square} I was able to use up some bits and peices from my scraps drawer.
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas time with friends and family and wish you all a happy and prosperous new year xx

Dress it up !
Hello again - yes this is my second post of the day - try and contain yourself !
I am back to show you a brand spanking new release digi stamp from Jellypark.
This gorgeous and super girly image is called dress shop and you can get it here at the jellypark store.
I paper peiced the dress and bag in the window and then coloured the rest with promarkers and added some stickles and lots of glossy accents to the window and door. Now I am looking at it finished I think I'll add more stickles to the awning too !
I have used lilybee papers {Head over heels} and a just the edge border strip from bazzil - I always buy these in white then colour up with acrylic paint/ink or promarkers that way I always have the right colour for any project. This one is painted with my pink acrylic dabber (ranger) and then given the sparkly edge with stickles and glossy accents.
I also added lots of prima swirls - oh I just love these - if I get any money for Christmas I am going to treat myself to some more as I'm nearly all out ! *I have also vowed to buy more tulle - I love the yummy girliness of if and i think it looks great wrapped around a card*

Tag you're it !
Good morning - once again it is Friday - wow they come around quick don't they ?!
Well today is a fun Friday as it is also tome to reveal the brand new challenge over at Jellypark friends Friday challenge. This weeks challenge is perfect for getting all those little Christmas gifts ready and those tags made as it is an anything but a card challenge.
I have to admit that I do not make many altered or non card {!} crafty items so I was pretty sure that I would make a tag set for this challenge until, that is, I saw a little tutorial for a wine bottle tag at whiff of joy.
My father in law loves a good bottle of wine and we have got him one as a little extra Christmas gift so I thought this would be perfect.
Can I just tell you I had such fun making this project I got out loads of my messy craft supplies and had a blast !
The base of this tag is actually a peice of scrap thick cardboard, which I knew would come in handy, and I started by painting the edges with my white acrylic paint dabber then sprayed it with some spray and sparkle.
The papers are digi's from the Echo park wintertime set and I have done a little bit of doodling on the edges (told you I had fun !) The 3 paper strips on the main section are also doodled and then i also glittered and glossy accented the edges too - I am sorry that the pic doesn't show the beautiful glimmer but I love the touchable goodness of it !
The super snow fella is, of course, from jellypark you can find him in the store here. He is coloured simply with promarkers and spica glitter pens with some diamond dust added for sparkle !
Anyone who ever recieves a bottle of wine from me from now on will be getting it with one of these - I am converted - they are so much nicer than those bottle bags !
Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT inspiration these girls will never let you down - just hop over to the jellypark challenge blog here x
I would like to add this card to the following challenges;
Skipping stones design - Gorgeous sketch and fab DT inspiration x
Dutch dare challenge - Bingo (I used distressing/digi image/ribbon)
Cooking it up with Katie - Anything goes
I love promarkers - Blue & white
Inky impression challenges - Winter fun
Anything goes challenge blog - Anything but a card (optional tags)
Shopping our stash - Tag it krafty
Top tip Tuesday - Gifts
Try it on Tuesday - Gift tags galore !
Charisma cardz challenges - Last minute Christmas makes
Thanks for visiting me today I hope you are feeling good and Christmassy (I am typing this post while listening to my Mr Buble Christmas CD (phwoar now that is yummy !)

Feeling frosty
Today it is time for the new challenge over at colour create and this week it is the super talented Sharon's turn to choose our colour combo.
Here is the photo inspiration for you
so the colours are blue, white and silver and the optional extra is embossing.
So for my card, from the base up, I used my spray and sparkle glitter to add some silver sparkle on the card base. Next I embossed 2 layers - a layer of card and a layer of vellum - with my cuttlebug embossing folder {thanks Mum x} and inked the top vellum layer with some blue ink just to highlight that yummy embossed pattern.
The doily was inked too and then sprayed with spray and sparkle I then sprayed it again with spray and shine so it has a super sparkly sheen to it.
The rosette is made from a patterned vellum - I haven't used vellum since last Christmas and here I am using it twice on one card !
The snowflake was diecut with my mariannes createables die and I added a large clear gem for a bit more bling then just added a stamped sentiment - Voila !
I had a great time making this card so I hope you like it and will join in with us at colour create for our last challenge in 2011.
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
Crafting for all seasons - Christmas card/project
Crazy amigo challenge - Embossing
Everybody art challenge - Blue & white
Cupcake craft challenges - Sparkle, shine & gleam
Heart song inspirations - Snowflakes and doilies
4 crafty chicks - Christmas cards
Crimbo crackers - Embossing (Hi Ruth !)

Celebrate
How quickly is Christmas creeping up on you ?! Super fast here - I have gone from being quite organised quite early to suddenly realising that I still have some way to go before I will be ready.
So hopefully by this time next week I will be done and feeling a little more relaxed !
Anyway back to todays card - it is my DT card for papercrafting journey. Our challenge for you this week is to create a christmas themed papercraft project.
We are sponsored by one of my favorite digi designers Meljens designs. I used the beautiful Prancer digi stamp - I just couldn't resist him ! Look how happy and proud he is - a total joy to create with :)
You can check out Melissa's other fab digi's at her store here. I coloured up the image with my promarkers and spica glitter pens and added lots of glossy accents and stickles for bling !
I have used digi papers from 2 different kits - Merry & bright collection by creativity by Crystal and Santa's sleigh by Carina Gardner Inc bith available at Jessica spraque here.
I added one of my doilies (which I finally found - these have been awol for weeks and I have missed them so !) some ribbon which I ruffled with purposely large conspicuous stitches. I used the same ribbon to create a knot which is sandwiched between the button and the felt snowflake poking out behind the doily edge with the sentiment banner.
I must also tell you that the fantastic layout is not my own - I used the sweet Sunday sketch from last week - I know it is too late to enter it now but I adore the layout and think I will def be using this one again - so thanks Karen.
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
Creative craft challenges - Stitching real or faux (stitched ribbon)
Passion for promarkers - Celebrations
Color throwdown - Colour combo - Burgundy, caramel, Suede & olive
ABC Christmas challenge - Anything Christmassy goes
Creative belli blog - Winter & Christmas
Divas by design - Anything goes
My mums craft shop challenge - Traditional Christmas
The paper variety - Inspired by a Christmas song (Rudolph the red nosed reindeer)
Thanks for visiting me today - don't forget to check-out the rest of the gorgeous DT's creations over at the paper crafting journey challenge blog x

Kiss me quick !
Hello and thanks for visiting today oh and of course happy Friday !
It is time to celebrate with another jellypark friends Friday challenge and some new jellypark images.
Our challenge this week is to use felt on your project - easy peasey !
For my card I have used one of the new release jellypark images - isn't it cute ?! It's called couple kissing under the mistletoe and it's available here at the Jellypark store. I coloured it with promarkers and copics and paper peiced it too. Then I added lots of glitter to her dress and, of course, her shoes !
All the patterned papers (incl the paper peiced ones) are digi papers from the Merry & bright collection by creativity by Crystal at Jessica Sprague and the felt and ribbon are from stash. I also added some glossy accents to the background paper - it's one of those little things that makes you "have to" touch the paper..
Please pop over to the Jellypark friends Friday challenge blog to check out all the jellypark DT cards and all the details of the challenge as well as the other fantastic new release and I hope to see you joining in soon x
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Tis the season alright !
Good morning to you and happy December - not long now !
We had a flurry of excitement in our house this morning as the children opened the first doors on their advent calendars and the surprise on their little faces when they realised that they were allowed to eat that little chocolate at breakfast time was precious x
Almost makes all the tantrums and horrid behaviour of the last week bearable - almost !!
Anyway this morning it is time to reveal the new colour combination over at colour create and this week it was the super sylvia's turn to inspire us with this gorgeous combo and inspiration pic.So our colours this week are red, white & green and our optional extra is snowflakes.
Our sponsor for this challenge is High hopes rubber stamps who are offering our winner this gorgeous set of stamps.I went for the clean & simple aproach this week - it just seemed right with this image which I coloured with my sons crayola pens !
The background is also made with the crayola's and a wet paint brush and then I added loads of crackle accents. This is the 1st time I have used this - it is sooooo easy you just squeeze it on and it crackles itself !
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
Craft your passion challenges - Tis' the season
Digi stamps 4 joy - Christmas with NO animals
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you'll hop over to colour create and play along with us x
