Girly frou frou !
Well while I should have been ironing this afternoon I spent my time {more wisely!} crafting instead !
How could I not after seeing this weeks colour challenge at CR8 4FN take a look
When I saw it I went all girly and frou frou and knew just what I wanted to do.
I had seen a beautiful sketch here at I heart art - sketchy Sunday earlier in the week and just knew the 2 challenges would gel together beautifully.
I went for a beautiful soft pearlescent pink background and used my Anna Griffin lace stamps top and bottom.
The flower was made with tissue paper {I only had cream so I used a copic marker to pink it up !} and a scrap of black net that was left over from my halloween cards.
After layering it up and securing with a brad I spritzed it with a little spray and sparkle then some spray and shine for super sheen !
I had enough net left over to tie around the top of the card underneath a light pink sheer organza ribbon.
I used a combination of stamps for the sentiment {Crafters companion for the sentiment & Kanban for the frame} and popped it up a little with my red line tape.
I finally realised that CR8 4FN called for us to use cream too so I added the pearls !
A simple another simple card but it is oh so pretty - even if I do say so myself !
I would like to add my card to the following challenges;
CR8 4FN - Colour challenge
