Sparkling sheep :)

Ok is anyone else having problems with blogger ? I scheduled a post to go live this morning but when I checked it hadn't posted and had completely disappeared from my post list too !! So I'm not quite sure where in blogoshere my post went but here is another to replace it !

It's time for another fab new release over at Jellypark and this time we have this cute little lamb - perfect for spring :) There are 2 new digis here is a preview for you.

Click on the digi names above each image to be taken to their spot in the store.

I gave my image a little shading with a light touch with my prisma pencils and add ice stickles to make my little lamb sparkle :)

I stamped the beautiful heart doily from papermania and embossed it then layered it onto another doily die cut with my cheery Lynn English tea party die. The flowers and leaves are die cut from a Marianne die. I added liquid pearls to the centre of the flowers and the butterfly.

I tied it all up with 1" lemon chiffon and lilac pom pom trim and topped the bow with a button tied with lemon paper string.
The yummy backing paper is from MME bramble rose kit and I roughly edged it with gold embossing powder.

I hope you'll hop on over to the Jellypark challenge blog to check out the new releases and also the latest challenge as well as the massive amount of fab inspiration from the DT.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Ribbon carousel blog - Spring is in the air
Nutcrafters - Spring is here
Crafts and me challenges - Buttons & bows

Thanks for visiting me today x

Bright & breezy :)

Just wanted to share a simple but cheery card that I made at the weekend.

I made this card with the bright fun colours and patterns from the EP summer days paper pad.
The pin wheel is a sizzix die cut (actually was bigger but I cut it down a little to fit comfortably on my card) I also used my scalloped square die, also from sizzix.

After cutting the scalloped square I cut another from thick cardboard and folded the edges back over it. Never tried it before but I like the result !

I used pro-markers to colour the back of my DP to make it double-sided and added a big chunky brad to the centre of my pin wheel - voila !

Like I said it's simple but it made me smile to play with these bright, happy DP's.

I would like to add my card to the following challenges;

Anything goes challenge - Seeing double (2 Dp's, 2 die cuts)
The shabby tea room - Anything goes
Use it Tuesday - Die cuts, punches & cut-outs (both my dies are over a year old and the DP's are old too)

Thanks for visiting me today x

Righto so I must apologise this should have been posted last Friday but apparently blogger had other ideas ! The SFTW challenge runs for another week - so here is your mid challenge reminder !!

SFTW has another fab challenge for you - this fortnight we want to see your projects with Lace (and stamping - digi or rubber !)

I used the super sweet image Isabella dance recital, available here.

I ruffled up some tulle off cuts around my die cut image using red line tape to secure - I love the effect. My DP's are from the Rosie collection digi kit available here at Jessica Sprague.

Hoppy Easter

It is time for another fun challenge over at Jellypark and this time we want to see bunnies on your projects :)
Perfect to get ahead for Easter so get those spring papers out and the colours flowing :)

I love Claire's bunny images for any time of year - my favourite toy, as a child, was my binny (I couldn't say bunny and it just stuck !) and later I had a beloved pet rabbit by the same name :)

This particular image is the cute dancing rabbit and is available in the store here I coloured him (or her!) in with my prisma pencils.
I used DP's from the papermania spots and stripes capsule collection to make my tag and also to paper piece my bunny's dungarees and ears. The sentiment was made in MS Word.

Here's a closer look
Don't forget to bunny hop (ha ha !!) over to the jellypark challenge blog to see all the fabulous DT creations to inspire you and while you are there don't forget to check out the new release images for this fortnight too - you won't be disapointed - I promise x
