Good morning – yay it’s Friday J and we have enjoyed a week of sunshine here in the UK. I love the heat and the kids have had a great week in the paddling pool and sprinkler we even went for a paddle in a local river to cool off one day.

Today I wanted to show you a new card I made for the new challenge over at Jellypark friends Friday challenge this week we are celebrating the Olympics and all things sporty J
I have used one of the Jellypark new releases called boy no1 medal which is perfect for this challenge and another super cute addition to the jellypark store – you can find him here.

I used DP’s from the EP happy days 6x6 paper pad and coloured my image with prisma’s . I made the sentiment in word to go with the image.

Here is another pic

Don’t forget to hop on over to the Jellypark friends challenge blog and check out all the fab DT inspiration and other new release too – You will not be disappointed.

Girly goodness :)

Good morning I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine wherever you are ! The UK has finally found a little summer and I am lovin' it ! Isn't it amazing how a little sunshine can make everything feel a little easier - it certainly brightens my mood :)

Anyway I am here to show you a card that I made for the new challenge over at MMCS - this week our challenge theme is "Birthday girls"
I can't wait to see your creations this week I just know there will be lots of ribbon, lace, glitter and all things pretty :)

I used a wee stamps clear stamp and coloured her first with my Lyra aquacolors then added shading and depth with my prisma pencils - it is the first time I tried this combination and wasn't sure if the sansodor would mix very well with the aquacolor water colouring but it seemed fine and definitely added lots more depth to the image.

The yummy DP's are from the BG Picadilly paper pad and the main frame is die cut with my fleur de lis square spellbinders. I added lace from my local haberdashery - I love the clean bright white - and flowers which I tipped with scattered straw distress ink and lemon stickles.

Here is another look (sorry about the weird angle !)

I hope you'll check out all the details over at the MMCS challenge blog - the DT have been busy making some lovely cards and projects to inspire you.

I would also like to add my card to the following challenges;

Basic Grey challenges - Things with wings
Come & get it - BINGO (I used gems, diecuts & flowers - actually there is only one thing in the grid I DIDN't use !)
Let's ink it up - All girl
Card makin' Mamas - 1 image, 2 DP's & 3 embellies
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Use 2 or more dies (Spellbinders fleur de lis & Die-namics flat bottomed clouds)
Tammy's scrapin corner - BINGO (Ribbon, free space & flowers)
Bunny Zoes crafts challenge - Lace & swirls (swirls on frame)

Butterfly wishes

Yay it's time for another challenge over at Stampin' for the weekend and this time around Clare has chosen a beautiful photo to inspire your creations. Here it is

I think I could make a thousand cards using this beautiful picture as inspiration. Green & pink is my fav' colour combo and I love the shabby style that the picture illustrates.

I used more digital DP's on this card - I am trying to use some of the many digi kits I have purchased recently - these are from the shabby digital paper pack from sassy designs. The sweet sentiment stamp is another digi from Jess over at playing with paper.

Fab die cut butterflies are from the crealies creatives die and I added more pearls to the centres.

I hope you'll check out all the details of the challenge and prize over at the stampin' for the weekend blog and see all the amazing DT inspiration there too.

Tag it

Hello again :) Today it's time for another challenge over at stampin' for the weekend and this week Chris chose the theme of tags. So you can make a tag or create a project with a tag on it. We also have not one but two fabulous sponsors this week
Simon says stamp
Simon Says Stamp
and also
Pink gem designs

So there is double the chance to win this week :)

I made a wine bottle tag - I love making and giving these - they are simple to make and they make, what can be an otherwise, predictable gift a bit more special.

I cut the tag shape from the back board of an A4 pad of paper and used a small scrap of DP so it's a very thrifty project too ! The gorgeous image is a digi from pink gem designs and I coloured her with pro-markers and added some shading with my prisma's. I also added some glitter to the rain drops :)

Here's another closer image for you

This image is very apt here in the UK as we are expecting about a months rain to fall today - if you are somewhere warm and sunny please send us some sunshine - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Don't forget to hop on over to the stampin' for the weekend challenge blog to check out all the other DT inspiration.

I would like to add my tag to the following challenges;

Bearly mine - Ribbons and bows
Totally stampalicious - Bows and a ribbon

Thanks so much for visiting me today x

Brilliant bumble beeeeeeeee

Good morning I am very excited to share with you a new feature that starts today over at the Jellypark friends challenge blog.
Today see's the launch of our image spotlight which gives the DT a chance to share our own favourite Jellypark images with you as we take turns to spotlight an image. The DT will then use that image to create something - I just love to see one image used in so many different ways I find it's great inspiration x

So this week it's my turn to choose and I chose this adorable bumble bee

I have always adored this image as I do all of Claire's "dressing up" images - well ok I love 'em all !!

I coloured her with my pro-markers and added some stickles to her wings and antennae. For my card base I cut a 7" x 5" card into a hexagon and added lots of smaller hexagons to create a honeycomb look.

I added a ribbon & bow with some flowers (and more stickles !) and a sentiment - voila !

We would love it if you would like to share any projects you have made with our spotlighted image this week - whether they are new or old - just leave a comment on the blog so we can pop over to see your creations.

I would like to add  my card to the following challenges;

Come & get it challenges - Cute as a bug
Clear it out challenges - Use yellow
Fashionista Challenge - Winged things
Card & scrap - Wings
Desert island crafts - Use 3 itinerary items (I used Inked edges, glitter & stamp - my sentiment)
Paper crafting journey - Summer - (Hiya girls xx)
Cute card Thursday - Gardeners world

Thanks so much for visiting me today I hope you enjoyed my card x
